The INTERNATIONAL ARCHICTETURE FORUM OF NATAL,
echoes the concerns and debates involving the construction and survival
of our cities, offering itself as a privileged space for discussion
about the issues that have occupied its agents and thinkers: architects,
planners, engineers, geographers, politicians, administrators, etc...
In a time where the territorial, social and economic changes by which
the planet goes through, raise our definitive flags about our finite
capacity of material production, we believe that the architecture, such
as a poetic matrix of this transformation, is once again in history, the
possibility of reveal its creator condition, facing the internal issues
of the profession and contributing to the sustainable organization of
cities. |

Natal, example of a midsize city of South
America, with a population of 800 thousand inhabitants and the regional
particularity of being one of the capitals of the northeastern states of
Brazil, together with its tourist potential and the fact of being an
equidistant point between large Cities in the Americas, Europe and
Africa, opens its schedule for this event, which aims to become a space
of continuous contribution of experts from Brazil and abroad for what we
want our living spaces to be: sustainable cities, with a high degree of
quality of life for its inhabitants. |
